What we collect

  • Invoice photos and PDFs you upload. The file is sent to Google's Gemini AI service to be read, then discarded. We do not keep the image or PDF.
  • What was read from the invoice: supplier name, invoice number and date, product lines, quantities and prices. We keep this so we can compare prices with your next invoice.
  • A random ID for your phone or browser, so your invoices stay grouped together. It is not linked to your name unless you sign up.
  • If you create an account: your email address (used to sign you in with a one-time code), your business and location names, your team members' emails, and your alert settings (email and, if you add one, mobile number).
  • If you subscribe: your plan and billing status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
  • If you joined the early-access list: the name, email, phone number, restaurant and city you entered.
  • Basic technical records (for example how long an invoice took to read and what it cost us).

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, show ads, or share your prices with other restaurants or with suppliers. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Who processes it

  • Google (Gemini API) reads invoice files and writes pushback email drafts. We currently use Google's free tier, under which Google may use submitted content to improve its services.
  • Vercel hosts the website and app server.
  • Neon stores the database.
  • Resend sends sign-in codes and price-alert emails.
  • Stripe processes subscription payments.

Deleting your data

In the PriceBite app, go to History → Delete my data. This permanently removes every invoice, price and signup linked to your device. You can also email support@getpricebite.com.
